2002 Short - Comedy
Carlie Cross's "Last Chance Cafe" (originally
titled "DVR Diner") was a project that was born out of the
Wisconsin branch of the Indie Club (an
internet filmmaking group). It brought my Comedy City buddies (Mike
Eserkaln and Darby Kern) and myself to Baraboo, Wisconsin for one
of my earliest collaborations. Initially we were shooting bits and
pieces for
a larger
feature-length
project but it turned into a self contained short that turned out to
be a lesson in teamwork. The shoot involved some great people; unfortunately
I've lost touch with many of them.
